This is a piece I wrote towards the end of April in 2009. Still some things I'd like to add/change like some percussion in the beginning and live rhythm instead of sequenced. Anyway I tidied it up a little and feel it's presentable. Hope you enjoy.

"Having always wanted to perform a piece of classical virtuosity with the freedom of bluesy improv, I decided to write this piece entitled, "Motion". Inspired by Ysaye, Paganini, and B.B. King, I'm happy to say that "Motion" has been performed in the most random venues ranging from Lincoln Center in NYC to Ruta Maya's Coffee in Austin, TX. As I always say, music should have no barriers and I'm so grateful that audiences of all kinds have supported my music in grand concert halls to small, intimate bars and coffee houses. I hope you guys enjoy it!" Motion for Solo Violin Written by Charles Yang 2008 Recorded live in NYC 2011 Also Visit: www.charlesyangmusic.com www.facebook.com/charlesyangmusic

An original Violin Duet called Wanderers Duet. Just two violins =) Inspired by the game Journey and its OST, I found the game really relaxing and the soundtrack was beautiful yet very unobtrusive. Worked perfectly with the game. I wanted to do a piece that has that same relaxing unobtrusive sound. Would probably be good to draw, write or study to =D Hope you enjoy =) Ask me a question on ask.fm/LucasKingPiano Like me on Facebook https://www.facebook.com/pages/Lucas-King/422277594533711 Follow me on twitter @LucasKingPiano Follow me On Soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/lucas-king-piano-music

I wrote this piece in 2008 when I was 17, it started as a piano solo but i felt it needed more so I wrote a melody for a clarinet to go on top. Having sent a recording of this to my friend who plays the violin he asked me to arrange a version for violin and piano and we recorded it together. I'll upload the original clarinet version if people would like that. :) . I feel like Rachmaninov influenced me here and i listened to Mozart's clarinet concerto to get an idea of how to write for one. John Bettley was one of my music teachers at school he inspired me and many others to make wonderful music and sadly in my last year of school he got run over while crossing a road. when i heard the news i went and took out all my feelings on my piano and this is the result. hope you enjoy listening. An original Violin Cello and Piano piece called Leyawiin. It's inspired by the sort of stuff Jeremy Soule does, he uses lots of violins flutes etc and creates that sort of Gaelic sound. This reminds me of that a bit. I can imagine the walk to Leyawiin from Imperial City that I did many times =D I spent more time in Leyawiin than I did in any other city in Oblivion, not sure why I just liked being there. Hope you enjoy =) Like me on Facebook! https://www.facebook.com/pages/Lucas-King/422277594533711 Follow me on twitter @LucasKingPiano Follow me On Soundcloud https://soundcloud.com/lucas-king-piano-music

© Jack Telfer St Claire 2014 I was originally intending Cello & piano, but after sending the melody to a friend he came round to try it out on his violin and I quite liked it... Perhaps I will do a version for both. :) Obviously this is not a finished piece, Just what I had written at the time of the recording but I wanted to share it because I think it's cool. I've basically completed the piece now, with a couple of small changes to the section in the video. I just need to have another session with a violinist (or maybe a cellist) to try out some ideas. I think my biggest inspiration for this piece came from Messiaen's "Quartet for the end of time"- In particular movement 7 helped me come up with the main rhythmic idea for the piano part. I started with just broken chords. I've also been enjoying lots of different cello music on youtube and elsewhere. + my usual eclectic mix. :) Hope you enjoy and any suggestions, slurs and bowing could be particularly helpful.
